Conscious Movement Foundations – Teacher Training
A training in embodiment, authenticity and conscious movement.
Step into a new way of teaching movement.
The rasalila Conscious Movement Foundations Teacher Training is an immersive foundational training for aspiring movement teachers, facilitators, coaches, pole teachers, yoga teachers, performers, and anyone who wants to guide others through movement experiences.
More than just teacher techniques
With this training you will learn more than teaching techniques, it’s a deep exploration of body awareness, nervous system regulation, consent, authentic expression, anatomy, somatic practices, breath, alignment, and conscious communication. A journey into learning how to hold space safely, teach from intuition and grounded presence, and create movement experiences that invite people back into connection with themselves.
3 weekends – 30 hours of training
Over the course of three weekends, you will experience both the philosophy and practice behind rasalila’s conscious movement approach. Through movement sessions, (self) reflection, anatomy, embodied research, and practice teaching, you will develop the confidence and tools to begin guiding others.
This training is designed for
- Aspiring movement and embodiment teachers
- Dance teachers wanting a more conscious teaching style
- Yoga teachers and facilitators
- Dancers and performers
- Coaches and therapists wanting to integrate embodiment into their work
- Anyone longing to deepen their relationship with movement and the body
During the training you will explore
- Body awareness & breath
- Movement & alignment
- Somatic practices
- Nervous system regulation
- Anatomy & safety awareness
- Conscious communication & consent
- Embodied bias literacy, including relational dynamics and racial conditioning
- Practice teaching & feedback
Conscious Movement
At rasalila, we believe that teaching conscious movement is about much more than movement itself. It is a form of community care (which you can read more about in this blog). That’s why, alongside anatomy, teaching methodology and embodiment, we also explore topics such as consent, conscious communication and embodied bias literacy. And don’t forget fun! These elements help you create movement spaces that are safe, inclusive and empowering for everyone.
This training includes approximately 30 hours of training, including live training weekends, assignments and a Class Pack to join additional rasalila classes (check class schedule here).
There is something incredibly powerful about learning to guide people back into their bodies.
